Criques de l'Ouille in Argelès-sur-Mer

Ouille beach, a small paradise between Argelès-sur-Mer and Collioure

A beautiful and refreshing swimming experience in an unspoilt natural setting

Its name may sound funny, but its crystal-clear waters will win you over!

Plage de l’Ouille is a small cove on the coastal path. The Ravaner torrent flows into the beach, forming the boundary between the communes of Argelès-sur-Mer and Collioure. Its hundred-meter-long cove forms a basin of small pebbles. Surrounded by the cliffs of the Côte Vermeille, it’s the ideal spot for snorkeling and diving.

The beach is unsupervised, north-facing and sheltered.

Access

It is not very popular, as parking is sometimes difficult.
Access is via the Route Nationale 114 towards Collioure, and parking is available on a dirt track close to the Camping des Criques de Porteils.
