The Argelès-sur-Mer carnival celebrates 50 years of rebirth
1975 - 2025. For half a century, the Carnaval d'Argelès-sur-Mer has been inviting us to take to the streets for a shimmering, mischievous cavalcade.
This year, to mark the 50th anniversary of its return, the Town Council and the Friends of the Carnival are stepping up the festivities and bringing back ancient carnival traditions, starting on 1 March.
