The first of our favorite places is the port. It’s an unusual place that awakens all the senses.
The slightly heady smell of iodine, the tinkling of moored boats, the mountain panorama… there’s nothing better than enjoying a fresh fish, all facing the sea. And time stands still!
Then it’s time to experience real Argelésian life, in the village. It’s the lungs of our town. This is where you’ll find our heritage and farmers’ markets in our little squares of light-colored stone. Take a seat on the terrace and enjoy a tasty escalivade, concocted with the region’s sun-drenched vegetables.
