Parking lots in Argelès plage

From June 01 to September 30, 5 Argelès-sur-Mer seafront parking lots are subject to a charge*, every day from 9am to midnight. These are the Casino, Platanes and Grau parking lots at the beach center, the Port parking lot and the Sardane parking lot at Le Racou.
Access to the other 15 beach parking lots is free of charge.

The first hour is free, after which rates are charged by the hour. Daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly rates can be purchased directly from the parking meters.

If you’re in danger of overstaying, you can top up your parking remotely, using your smartphone.

*On-street parking is free for disabled holders of the CMI-S or CES-CSPH card.

Parking lots in Argelès Village

Three blue zones in the town center use parking discs.
The three zones concerned are the Marasquer parking lot (50% of spaces in blue zone), the central ring of the Espace Liberté (50% of spaces in blue zone), and the Route Nationale.

Parking discs are available free of charge from the Mairie (shopkeepers in the town center also distribute them).
Users can park in blue zones with the disc for 1h30, from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.

Three different zones in Argelès-sur-Mer
The commune has parking zones for different uses:
– white zones: parking spaces are free for 7 days.
– blue zones: free parking for 1.5 hours with a parking disc. These zones encourage trips and stops in the town center, and the circulation of vehicles with compulsory rotation.
– minute stops on the main road: spaces are free for 20 minutes. These parking spaces near shops are useful for occasional stops.
